Kira Primke

Kira Primke completed classical singing studies at the Berlin University of the Arts.  The versatile artist played leading roles at the Landestheater Linz, Vereinigte Bühnen Wien,  Schauspielhaus Bochum, Schauspielhaus Bonn, Staatstheater Kassel and Nuremberg and the  Bregenz Festival. 

For almost 30 years, in addition to her own career, she has also dedicated herself to training  professional singers and actors in the field of singing and voice. She is a lecturer in voice at the  Hanover University of Music, Theatre and Media and Rostock University of Music and Theatre. Her professional vocal coach engagements include collaborations with Schauspielhaus Hamburg,  Schauspielhaus Bochum, Oldenburgisches Staatstheater.She was a jury member of the Federal  Singing Musical / Chanson Competition on several occasions. 

In 2022 she won the German Musical Theater Prize for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.  She has been a certified Figures Teacher in Estill Voice Training since 2017 and is influenced by  functional voice training according to Cornelius Reid.
