I come from the worlds of visual arts and journalism. Over the years, I have been based in South America, the Western U.S., and Eastern Europe, while working across Eastern Africa, the Middle East, Europe, South America, the U.S., and the Caribbean.

What truly drives me is a deep fascination with the human experience. From those who wield power to the anonymous laborers working the fields, I have worked with and photographed politicians, mercenaries, celebrities, engineers, grandmothers, artists, and refugees.

After moving back to New York, I founded a boutique production company, Nawi Films, focused on developing corporate documentaries.

I have been accepted into the first Master’s Degree in Media Production program at NYU, where we are building a network of like-minded colleagues and industry professionals. This experience is sharpening my skills and providing valuable resources to develop long-form content, allowing me to delve deeper into my passion for documentaries and explore fictional narratives.
