A South Korean director, filmmaker, educator, and interdisciplinary media artist working across performance, cinema, artificial intelligence, and immersive storytelling. Academic training in Theatre and Film, Life Science, and doctoral-level performance research informs a practice that combines artistic experimentation with analytical inquiry.
Recent projects have received recognition from international and domestic film festivals, including the New York Film and Cinematography Awards, Hollywood Stage & Script Film Competition, Tokyo Film & Screenplay Awards, Tunisia Animation Cinema Days, Los Angeles Short Film Awards, and WRPN.TV Short, Tight & Loose Global Film Competition. Additional honors include Best Commercial at the Kolkata International Short Film Festival, a Gold Award in AI Advertising at the Korea Artificial Intelligence Film Festival, the Grand Prize at the Gyeonggi Northern Region AI Content Production Camp, an Expert Pick Award at the Artsro Hackathon, and a Commendation from the Chairperson of the Seoul Metropolitan Council.
Professional activities include teaching in the Department of Media Arts and Sciences at Korea National Open University and serving as a BK-TED lecturer at Hanyang University. Ongoing work also extends to cultural policy, civic engagement, arts education, and public cultural initiatives in South Korea.

Experience in directing, filmmaking, performance, and AI-based media has demonstrated the importance of project development, financing, production management, distribution, audience strategy, and cross-cultural collaboration. Particular interest lies in producing work that combines cinematic storytelling with live performance, immersive technology, and AI-generated media.
The long-term objective is to build a global practice as a creative producer and director, connecting artists, technologies, institutions, and communities. The program will also support the development of new production models capable of bringing Korean stories and socially engaged media projects to wider international audiences.
