Sam Baumel is a multimedia producer. He partners with nonprofit organizations, advertising agencies, businesses and artists to transform visions into impactful narratives. 

Constantly reimagining how to better frame our three-dimensional reality for two-dimensional displays - whether in the cinema theater or the spatial computer - Sam embraces the unique opportunities and creative challenges presented by emerging media technologies.

In 2025, Sam launched Plant Shop by Tula House, a spatial commerce & plant care education app designed for Apple Vision Pro

Brand commissions include directing a dance film with Canon to promote their VR camera system, immersive documentaries with the Museum of Food and Drink for an exhibition at the Africa Center, a Microsoft-sponsored, 360-degree video series with Fast Company profiling innovation labs at Adidas, Gatorade, Specialized Bicycles and Lockheed Martin, virtual reality recruitment experiences with the U.S. Army, Carpenter’s Union and Minnesota Lynx of the WNBA as well as XR learning & development tools for Oatly and Tropicana. 

Other meaningful collaborations include co-producing the Netflix documentary Spelling the Dream, service on the Education Committee of the Video Consortium, a global collective on nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists as well as the production of several music videos, short and feature films.
