2024 Future Imagination Community Work Share

As part of Tisch Community Week 2024, Tisch Creative Research invites you to attend a Future Imagination Community Workshare! Join 2024 Future Imagination Collaboratory Researchers Rose DeSiano, Greg Heffernan, Andrea Lauer, and Candace Thompson for some hands on photo composite, bio-plastics, game-testing, soil microbe-y fun!

Time: 3:00 - 5:00 PM

Cyanotype Photo Composites: Rose DeSiano will host a workshop focused on reimagining photo archives to uncover lost or overlooked histories of communities and people. Participants will create and print photo composites using the cyanotype process, bringing together photos from their personal cell phone archives with historical photos of NYU from the university archives. 

Game-testing: Game designer, Greg Heffernan, aka Cosmo D, will offer live playtesting of a work-in-progress digital game.

DIY Bio-Plastics: Join Andrea Lauer for a bioplastic making workshop. Participants will learn about bio-plastics and experiment with processes to create more sustainable design materials!

Soil Microbes: Land steward and media maker, Candace Thompson will share their research on soil microbes.
