Student Kearra Gopee (BFA Photography 2017) is a featured artist in the three part Inaugural Exhibition Home, Memory, and Future running from October 2016 through March 2017.

The exhibit is being held at the Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institue on 125th Street and features two floors of installments as well as a third "'virtual' exhibition" to be mounted outdoors and online.

Gopee's work is to be shown in the third part of the exhibit using augmented reality technology. This part, entitled "Mi Querido Barrio (My Beloved Community)," features site-specific pieces by New York artists exploring physical locations important to the social history of El Barrio.

Gopee is a Trinidadian visual artist and documentary photographer. Her work was also featured in a recent article on The Creators Project.
