VOICES IN THE MIRROR: Gordon Parks Foundation Scholars | April 15 - June 3, 2017

Rebecca Arthur, a Junior in the Tisch Department of Photography and Imaging, is included in a group exhibition at the Gordon Parks Foundation in Pleasantville, New York. Rebecca Arthur and other show participants are past recipients of Gordon Parks Foundation scholarships.

Several other Tisch Photography & Imaging students have also recieved scholarships from the Parks foundation: Isabella Mejia, Myles Golden, Claudia Mann, and Jeffry Valadez.

The group exhibition is displayed alongside a selection of work by Gordon Parks, both well-known images and some which have rarely been seen by the public.

Rebecca's exhibited work "explores her changing relationships with her family members while they grieve the loss of her mother and move from the home they shared."

The exhibition opens April 15 and will remain on view untul June 3, 2017. An open house will be held on the 15th.

The Gordon Parks Foundation is located near the Pleasantville station on MTA Metro-North Harlem Line and can be reached easily by public transportation from New York City.
