Congratulations to DPI alum Isabel Castro on her directorial debut feature Mija, which narrates a moving story of daughters of undocumented Mexican American families, forging their way in the music industry.
Isabel Castro is a four-time Emmy-nominated, Mexican-American filmmaker. Her documentary Mija screened at the 2022 Sundance film Festival in January and recently at the IFC.
