Elliot Jerome Brown Jr., a 2016 graduate of Tisch Photography & Imaging, is currently featured in VICE Magazine's annual photo issue. He is currently attending a highly-respected residency program at the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture.

Elliott was one of 16 young photographers selected to interview their most influential figures for Vice. He chose Carrie Mae Weems, an acclaimed artist and MacArthur Foundation Genius Grant-winner whose work spans nearly four decades. 

The poigniant interview is accompanied by both Brown and Weems' artwork, drawing attention to the lines of influence and difference between them.
