Raven Malouf-Renning (PS M.A. '25) recently published an article titled "It's Never Too Late: Tales of a Midlife Dancer and Scholar in the Big Apple" in the Spring 2026 issue of Stance On Dance Magazine. Per their mission statement, Stance on Dance is a 501c3 nonprofit that "educates the dance community and wider audiences about dance from the perspective of underrepresented voices and access points."
The article chronicles the author's perspective on moving across the country from California to New York to pursue a Masters Degree at age 49, ushering in "probably the most positive and expensive midlife crisis I could have engineered for myself."
