Performance Studies Alum Mateo Hurtado (M.A. '20) returns to the Zoom stage as host and curator for JANUARY MONTH: TOUR DE CAPITOL, Friday January 28th at 7:30pm EST.
This iteration of Hurtado's semi-recurring traveling virtual variety show features Suni Reyes, Zilla Vodnas, Edwin Torres, Carlos Egaña, Teresa Cruz, and Performance Studies Ph.D. Candidate, Camila Arroyo. Following the anniversary of the undeniable Capitol insurrection changing everything and nothing about the state: this state of performance affairs is far from united. Procuring styles of poetry, stand-up, and good old fashioned conversation (ever heard of it?), JANUARY MONTH: TOUR DE CAPITOL puts the "sike!" in cycles as well as marathons and runs the glam gamut of expression for the ages.
