PS Alum Branden Jacobs-Jenkins (M.A. '07) and Lila Neugebauer were awarded the Princess Grace Statue Award on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024, at the Princess Grace Awards 40th Anniversary Gala. The Princess Grace Awards Gala, held at The Pierre in New York City, were hosted by the Princess Grace Foundation-USA, dedicated to honoring the legacy of Princess Grace of Monaco (nee Grace Kelly).

The Princess Grace Statue Award is given to previous Princess Grace Award winners who have distinguished themselves in their artistic disciplines. This year Jacobs-Jenkins and Neugebauer were honored for their individual achievements since winning their Princess Grace Awards as well for their most recent collaboration, “Appropriate”, written by Jacobs-Jenkins and directed by Neugebauer, that won the Best Revival of a Play at the 77th Annual Tony Awards.

The Gala also recognized the 2023 and 2024 Princess Grace Award Winners, Honraria, and Statue Award Recipients, and the highest honor of the evening, the Prince Rainier III Award.

Congratulations to Branden and Lila and all other award recipients!
