PS Alum Camila Arroyo (M.A. '17, Ph.D. '26) will be performing alongside her long-time collaborator Ricardo Daniel at MoMA After Hours: Wanderlust on October 6th. They are performing a new piece created for the occasion which is supported by the project TUMBAO.
MoMA After Hours: Wanderlust is an evening celebrating artists and ideas through live performance, exhibitions, collective art-making, and music. Taking an expansive view of wanderlust—not simply as a desire to travel, but as a longing for elsewhere, memory, escape, and emotional landscapes—the evening will transform the Museum into a space for discovery, movement, and connection.
Inspired by the energy of club culture and the spirit of artistic collaboration, the night will unfold across the Museum with a series of artist-led experiences, including a performance by L’Rain; a DJ set by Alexis De La Rosa with dancer Lysis; a performance by Camila Arroyo and Ricardo Daniel, presented by TUMBAO; and a participatory workshop with Cassandra Mayela Allen.
