Graduate of the Performance Studies M.A. Program, Bess is an Equity Membership Candidate and has studied acting at Michael Howard Studios, The Berkshire Theatre Festival, and the Gaiety School of Acting.

Ph.D.' 17, her research includes theatre, performance, and politics; affect studies; network theories and practices; intersectional feminism; memory studies in Latin American post-conflict contexts; critical digital studies as means to generate transcollectivities; becoming collective.

M.A. graduate whose dual passion for fashion and music have led her to an interest in the Trans Studies, Queer Studies and Feminist Theory.
