Sara Cooper (Cycle 18), Jenny Giering (Cycle 6), Niko Tsakalakos (Cycle 17), were each recipients of Barrington Stage Company’s inaugural Spark Grants. The theater company presented grants to eleven artists with whom they have either collaborated with on past work or looks forward to collaborating with in the future. Each recipient was awarded $2,500 under the single condition that the money be used to spark the artist’s creativity.
