Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program alum Mika Kauffman (cycle 26) presented the new musical TOO BRIGHT TO SEE at an industry reading on December 16, 2025 at The Tank's black box theater.
Based on the Newbery Honor–winning novel, with book and lyrics by Kauffman, the show follows 11-year-old Bug, a trans child, as he confronts questions about identiy, grief - and a ghost!
