Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program alum presented an invite-only reading of A COLLECTIBLE SENSATION at Musical Theatre West New Works Reading Festival on September 18 & 19, 2026.
This new musical, with book and co-lyrics by Arianna Rose (Cycle 21), takes place at the Baltimore Museum of Modern Art where long-dead sisters Etta and Claribel Cone appear, along with (also dead) Gertrude Stein and Alice Toklas, to figure out why Etta and Gertrude's "friendship” ended. A COLLECTIBLE SENSATION was a finalist for the 2024 Kleban Award for Libretto.
