Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program alum Mel Nakos (Cycle 35) and Marcus Scott (Cycle 22) were named 2026 fellows for the Playwrights Summer Fellowship program, Summer Jam.
This fellowship is committed to the accessibility of theatre education, building community, and addressing inequitable access to training for theatre writers of Latin American and Caribbean heritage. The week-long program provides workshops, mentorship, professional development, and artistic collaboration.
