Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program Alum Joe Iconis (Cycle 14) streamed a performance of his songs sung by "Joe Iconis & Family" Broadway performers from Adelphi University.
The performance, called "Live From Adelphi: Joe Iconis & Family" was a unique theatrical experience – part rock gig, part classic show-tune singalong, part immersive theatrical event. The show contained an electric mixture of songs from musicals and stand alone songs and featured Joe, Badia Farha (School of Rock, Broadway Bounty Hunter), Lorinda Lisitza (Berlin to Broadway, Joe Iconis Christmas Extravaganza), Lauren Marcus (Be More Chill, The Jonathan Larson Project), Will Roland (Dear Evan Hansen, Be More Chill), and Jason SweetTooth Williams (Be More Chill, The Black Suits).
The Live from Adelphi Concert Series brings Broadway and cabaret stars online for a series of concerts performed and streamed live at the Adelphi University Performing Arts Center on Sunday afternoons at 5:00 p.m. ET. The recording is then available until Wednesday at Midnight for those unable to watch live.
