Full-time GMTWP faculty member Sybille Pearson
Members of the GMTWP community honored and celebrated beloved full-time faculty member Sybille Pearson on her retirement from teaching during the annual GMTWP SESSIONS event on Sept. 20th.
After decades of service to the Program, current faculty, adjunct faculty, students, and alumni contributed fond memories and gratitude to Sybille, who had been a teacher, a friend, a colleague, an artistic collaborator, and a mentor to everyone who had attended or taught at the Program. The memories and expressions of gratitude were compiled into a book as a gift. During the evening, faculty members presented original songs as tribute to Sybille and alumni from the United Kingdom sent in video tributes. Even alumni living in South Korea Skyped in to honor Sybille during the event.
Sybille has touched us all and we will miss her greatly.
