FALL SPRINGS, a new musical by GMTWP alum Niko Tsakalakos (Cycle 17) will receive its world premiere at Barrington Stage Company later this year.
With music and lyrics by Tsakalakos, book and lyrics by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb, and direction by Stephen Brackett, FALL SPRINGS, an irreverent, funny and relevant new musical tells the story of the town of Fall Springs, which is cash-strapped but sits directly on top of America’s largest reserve of cosmetic essential oils. It has big dreams, but at what cost? With new fracking techniques being recklessly implemented, the ground beneath Fall Springs is crumbling.
