Ria Tobaccowala
Alumna Ria Tobaccowala's short film SHADOWS has landed a distribution deal with HBO, and is now available for streaming on HBO Max.
Written and directed by Tobaccowala, this coming-of-age story follows Naya, a high school senior whose Catholic family is struggling to redefine itself after her older brother Benito has returned home from prison as a converted Muslim. Fellow alumni Lorena Duran and Ashley Deckman collaborated on the project, DPing and producing respectively.
