“Gantumoote,” an Indian film which Alum Sahadev Kelvadi produced and DP'd, will be released domestically in India on October 18th. A high school, coming-of-age drama set in Bangalore in the ‘90s, “Gantumoote” follows a young girl navigating the complex world around her.
Kelvadi is the co-founder of Ameyukti Studios, an independent film production studio whose maiden feature film will be “Gantumoote.” The film also marks Kevaldi’s debut feature film with co-founder Roopa Rao. “Gantumoote” was awarded Best Original Screenplay at this year’s New York Indian Film Festival.
