Jean Pesce
Alum Jean Pesce is the 2018 Richard Vague Production Fund recipient from Graduate Film. Pesce won the annual $100,000 prize for her feature, Cuttlefish, which follows a broke, bumbling dog-groomer who realizes her beautiful, mysterious neighbor is involved in a money laundering scheme. When they wind up on the run, together this odd-couple must try to survive and forge an unlikely friendship along the way.
The other Grad Film finalists for the award were Lydia Chammas, Mammadou Dia, and Mauricio Osaki.
