No where else in the world can you find the range of disciplines in one school. Over the last 50 years as we forged new programs, built our home in New York and expanded to our global academic centers, institutes emerged. Each are built with shared values, common goals, and a priority for putting students first. The result – a place where artists and scholars create the future.
Students at the NYU Game Center have created an online version of the department based (loosely) on the 6th floor of 370 Jay Street! This multiplayer game/space is the result of an independent study led by Adjunct Professor Greg Heffernan, and now you can be one of the first folks to explore the re-creation of our home. To join the in-game party, RSVP by filling out this form. Because the DIY online space is in its early stages, server capacity is limited -- sign up early and you'll be at the front of the line! If we have room for you, we'll e-mail you a link and instructions on how to login and play.
At 6:00 PM, Naomi Clark (Faculty) will also be streaming live from the DIY Online Space on the NYU Game Center's Twitch channel and interviewing some of the student developers! No RSVP necessary to check out the twitch stream.
This event is free and open to anyone in the NYU community!
