PROJECT

Dirt and Water

Dirt and Water is an aesthetic exploration of wetlands that aims to ignite curiosity and a sense of poetic beauty around them, thus creating awareness of their carbon capture and potential for adaptation to climate change. Through film of these landscapes and their people in the Aysén Region of Chile, we hope to capture a slice of their magic. The film will then be altered by words that people use to talk about wetlands, obtained through text analysis: on the one hand, words from scientific articles and activists posts from Twitter, and on the other, words from the interviews of their inhabitants.
