The Department of Dramatic Writing offers one course that is open to non-major students, called Introduction to Dramatic Writing. Students can register for this class in Albert during the regular registration period. Introduction to Dramatic Writing is a foundational course that will serve as a prerequisite to our first-level writing courses, whereas Film Story Analysis, TV Story Analysis, and Play Story Analysis are not part of a sequence and can be taken at any time.
Space in our first- and second- level courses is limited. Please fill out the following form to request a spot in those courses, provided you have met the prerequisite. We will not be able to review any non-major requests until two weeks before the semester begins. If there is space, we will reach out to you for next steps in registration.
