The Classical Studio Class

The alumni of The Classical Studio have found success in a variety of careers within and beyond the arts (from law to medicine to education to psychology, etc).  For those who prioritize additional performance training, Classical alumni are regularly admitted to the major graduate acting programs, including NYU, Juilliard, Yale, and UCSD.  

 

Abubakr Ali starred in the TV series’ Katy Keene and Power Book. II: Ghost.

Teddy Alvaro is Dean of Curriculum and Instruction at Uncommon Schools.

Michael Bartelle is a doctoral researcher at the Shakespeare Institute in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Blair Best is a reporter for WGME in Maine.  

Seth Bridges is a stunt artist for television, film, theatre, and video games, most recently on CBS’s Elementary and Netflix's Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.  

Jabari Brisport, a state senator from New York’s 25th District, is the first openly LGBTQ person of color ever elected to the New York legislature.

Eli Bosnick hosts the top-rated podcasts The Scathing Atheist and God Awful Movies.

Nora Carroll has appeared on Chicago P.D. and Chicago Fire and has appeared in productions at Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, and the Public. 

Rachel Chavkin recently won a Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical for Hadestown

Holly Curran has starred on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Fear the Walking Dead.  

Ricardo Dávila recently starred in the TV series Dietland.

Chelsea Davison is Head Writer and Co-Executive Producer of A Little Late with Lilly Singh, previously writing for The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and The Opposition with Jordan Klepper.

Rebecca Dealy is Casting Director at Chrystie Street Casting.

Maya Erskine created and stars in Hulu's PEN15.  

Elizabeth Evans has narrated over 200 audiobooks and voiced many commercial campaigns, from AT&T to Twizzlers; she has been nominated for multiple Audie Awards.  

Jack Falahee starred in the ABC drama, How To Get Away With Murder, as well as Mercy Street for PBS.

Jessica Johnstone is a second-year student at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Daliya Karnofsky is a dating coach and hosts the podcast, Not Your Therapist.

Lannon Killea is a voice actor who can regularly be heard on Nickelodeon, CBS, and HGTV.

Roshni Lavelle is a Company Manager at Lincoln Center.

Justin Levine is Music Supervisor and Orchestrator for Broadway's Moulin Rouge!

Amanda Lipitz is the founder of Amanda Lipitz Productions, directed and produced the award-winning documentary STEP, and sits on NYU’s board of trustees. 

Vella Lovell starred in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and currently stars in Mr. Mayor.

Ani Niemann founded the immersive dance company, The Dance Cartel.

Ebonee Noel starred in the TV series, FBI.

Grace McLean received a Lortel Award for her musical, In the Green, and was a writer-in-residence at Lincoln Center.
