Tisch at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival
Thank you to everyone who joined us for TISCH ON MAIN 2025 at the Sundance Film Festival!
NYU Tisch School of the Arts is proud to celebrate its alumni, students, and faculty who have projects at the Festival. For over 30 years, Tisch has gathered at the Festival to celebrate this incredible group of storytellers. We hope you'll join us this year at TISCH ON MAIN, the official hub for the NYU and Tisch community at the Sundance Film Festival.
This year, 143* Tisch alumni, students, and faculty worked on projects in the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. Half of the ten films in both the US Dramatic Competition and the US Documentary competition were written, directed, or produced** by alumni. In addition, three of our affiliated films in the US Dramatic Competition category were directed by women.
Overall, our community worked on 39% of projects in the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. Congratulations to all alumni, students, and faculty with an affiliated project! See our full list of Tisch affiliations here.
