Malgosia Turzanska A behind-the-scenes look at the Globe players’ costumes

In Chloé Zhao's (Graduate Film) recently released Hamnet, Malgosia Turzanska '09 (MFA, Design for Stage & Film) brings the Elizabethan era alive through their costumes. Turzanska is the costume designer behind such films at The Green Knight and  In a Valley of Violence, saying she finds it easier to design period movies than contemporary ones in a recent interview about the film and her work with Harpers Bazaar.

When asked how she first became involved with the film, Turzanska said:

"First of all, it was Chloé. We actually went to NYU Tisch School of the Arts together, and I had tried to work with her years and years ago, but it just never came to be. So when I heard she was doing this, I thought it was the perfect project for us to finally connect on. I had read the book and loved it. That, and the combination of Jessie and Paul – who wouldn’t want to do that?"
