The Washington Post recently launched its inaugural collection of today's most influencial individuals with the "Post Next 50" list. Featuring 50 people over a wide variety of industries who are shaping society in 2025, the list "aims to reflect a range of viewpoints and highlight people who will be notable and whose work will be significant — locally, statewide or nationally" according to Executive Editor, Matt Murray.
For Next in Culture, the Post tapped Evan Ross Katz '11 (BFA, Drama), a writer, podcast host, and cultural observer with a large Instagram following for his quick and witty commentary on all things pop culture and television (see @evanrosskatz for more). Also, according to the creator of White Lotus, Mike White, Ross Katz is "the most valuable hypeman in the history of television."
