The 77th Annual Director's Guild of America (DGA) award winners were announced on Saturday, February 8th, 2025, recognizing Outstanding Directorial Achievement in 2024. This year's presenters included Ayo Edebiri '17 (BFA, Goldberg Department of Dramatic Writing), herself nominated for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in a Comedy Series.
This year, 3 alumni won 3 awards for their directing work, including a Lifetime Achievement Award for Ang Lee '84/Hon. '01 (MFA, Kanbar Institute, Graduate Film). See the Tisch winners below and see all DGA winners here.

This award, which is given to a Director in recognition of distinguished achievement in feature film direction, is the Guild's highest honor and the recipient is selected by the present and past presidents of the Guild.
