The 73rd annual Directors Guild of America (DGA) Awards and the 32nd annual Producers Guild of America (PGA) awards each announced their nominees on March 8 and 9, 2021. The DGA Awards honor the outstanding directorial achievement in feature films, documentary, television and commercials, while the PGA Awards honor honor the best film and television producers of the prior year.

Congratulations to the Tisch alumni nominated for a DGA or PGA Award! This year, 11 alumni received 11 DGA nominations across 7 categories. Nine alumni received 9 PGA nominations across 3 categories. Please note: a number of PGA Categories remain unconfirmed as eligibility determination pending. We will continue to update this list as we learn of additional nominees. 

Special congratulations to Chloé Zhao who is nominated for both a DGA and PGA award for her film Nomadland! The 73rd annual DGA Awards will be announced on April 10, 2021, and the 32nd PGA Awards will be announced on March 24, 2021.
