ITP is a graduate department sometimes described as an art school for engineers or an engineering school for artists. Perhaps the best way to describe us is a Center for the Recently Possible.
ITP does not train people for their first jobs after graduation, but rather, we train people for their last jobs. We don't focus on just teaching the technical tools. In addition, we focus on critical thinking, creative exploration and the ability to "learn how to learn." We embrace failure - as long as you learn from it. We embolden you with the ability to create something inventive while focusing on the human experience.
