Helen Shaw

Helen Shaw is a theater critic for the New Yorker. Formerly, she was the chief theater critic for New York Magazine, and she has written for Time Out New York, 4Columns, The Village Voice, American Theatre, and Art Forum. She won the 2017-2018 George Jean Nathan Award for Dramatic Criticism, and she has been teaching in Tisch drama since 2011.
