Casey Leach

Casey Scott Leach is a maker and educator. The things he makes include theater, music, puppetry and poetry. He was born in Columbus Ohio, received his Bachelors of Fine Arts from Cincinnati Conservatory of Music (CCM) for Acting, and moved to New York in 2011. He has been producing and performing ever since. His main artistic output has been with Hit The Lights! Company, with whom he co-writes, directs, designs, puppet crafts and performs theater regularly. Outside of HTL!, Casey's artistic endeavors have been as varied as his interests: singing and playing bass in various indie rock bands, writing and editing an online comic, performing and teaching stage combat, publishing poetry in zines, etc. For as long as Casey has been an artist, he has also been passionate about student guidance and development. He has worked in numerous camps, schools, and after-school programs throughout his life.
