Casey Leach
Interim Academic Advisor
Casey Scott Leach is a multidisciplinary artist and teacher. He was born and raised in Columbus Ohio, received his Bachelors of Fine Arts from Cincinnati Conservatory of Music (CCM) for Acting, and moved to New York in 2011. He has been producing and performing ever since. His main artistic output has been with Hit The Lights! Theater Company, with whom he co-writes, directs, designs, puppet crafts and performs regularly. Outside of HTL!, Casey's artistic endeavors have been as varied as his interests: singing and playing bass in an indie rock band, writing and editing an online comic, performing and teaching stage combat, publishing poetry in zines, etc. For as long as Casey has been an artist, he has also been passionate about student guidance and development. He has worked in numerous camps, schools, and afterschool programs throughout his life, the highlight of which has been his work at Manhattan Youth's Downtown Community Center in TriBeCa. He is excited by the combination of arts training and student engagement that working for Tisch provides. If you want to connect with Casey, strike up a conversation about second-wave emo, acroyoga, animation, and/or birdwatching.
