Casey O'Neil

Casey O’Neil has been an Administrative Aide for Tisch Drama's New Studio On Broadway since 2015. He received his BM in Trombone Performance from the Eastman School of Music, and an MFA from the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. His Off-Broadway musical, The Great Cat Massacre, co-written with Greg Moss, was praised by Broadway is Easy for being “a bloody good time” and “an entertaining look at the kinds of absurd stories people will believe.” Other select credits include: Soft & Salty Winds, orchestral tone poem (winner of the CCO composition competition); Danny & The Rocket, a new musical, previously presented at TheatreWorks, Pocono Mountain Music Festival, Two River Theater, and Tisch Drama (Marella Martin Koch, book & lyrics); The Bone Keepers, a one act opera, produced at Hunter College (Sophia Chapedjev, libretto); The Elephant in the Room, a song cycle, presented at NYU.
