Devin Ilaw

Devin Ilaw is a Filipino-American multi-hyphenate New York City-based artist and educator. As an actor, Devin has appeared on Broadway as Thuy in Miss Saigon (Original Revival Cast & 2017 Tony Awards performance) and Montparnasse in Les Miserables. Notably, he played Marius in the 25th Anniversary North American Tour of Les Miserables and Thuy in the Toronto revival of Miss Saigon. Other favorite stage credits include Bernstein’s Mass (Soloist, Philadelphia Orchestra – cast recording, & Chicago Symphony), Action in West Side Story: In Concert (The Kennedy Center), Emcee in Cabaret (Gulf Coast Symphony), Gabe in Next to Normal, El Gallo in The Fantasticks. Film credits include Asian Persuasion (Justin), Virtue (Efren), Cursed: in Concert (Beau). TV/Web Series: Interested In S2 (Chris). Modeling credits include Project Runway S19 as well as being the face of Royce NYC’s 2021 Fall/Winter Ad Campaign and poster boy for Broadway Bares 2017: Strip U. Devin served as Music Director for the off-Broadway productions of Imelda (Pan-Asian Rep) and Silver Bullet Trailer. He is an Ambassador for the non-profit Broadway for Arts Education (BAE). This summer, Devin was a Celebrity Mentor and Vocal Coach for the Great American Songbook Academy, and continues to maintain his own private vocal coaching studio in NYC for over 15 years. Devin is a member of the National Alliance of Singing Teachers (NATS). He received his BFA in Acting & Musical Theatre from Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama.
