Emily Elizabeth Rea

Emily Rea is a Brooklyn-based production manager and performance artist. For over a decade she has made her career managing experimental work, regional theater, new plays, dance, and large-scale media projects in NYC, nationally, and abroad. Most recently she was the Production Manager for The Wooster Group, where she managed local and internationally touring productions of the company's repertory pieces and new works; tour highlights include Singapore, Tokyo, Edinburgh, and Belgium. Emily earned her bachelors degree from Philadelphia’s University of the Arts and an MFA from CUNY Brooklyn in Performance and Interactive Media Arts. She is a also a co-founder of The Institute for Psychogeographic Adventure, a collective that creates urban performance adventures for one audience member at a time.
