Michelle M Roy

Michelle Roy is a New York–based costume designer and member of IATSE United Scenic Artists Local 829. She has worked extensively in television and film, with credits that include Long Bright River (Peacock), Sunny (Apple TV+), Pose (FX/Hulu), Extrapolations (Apple TV+), The Outlaws (Amazon Prime/BBC), Let the Right One In (Showtime), and The Good Fight (Paramount+). Michelle was part of the Emmy Award–winning costume design team for the Pose series finale, recognized for Outstanding Contemporary Costumes in 2021.

In addition to her work in film and television, Michelle has designed for theater and dance, with projects at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, John W. Engeman Theater, Theater Three, The Hangar Theater, and Ithaca College, among others. She holds an MFA in Costume Design from NYU Tisch and a BFA in Theatrical Production Arts from Ithaca College, where she graduated with honors.
