Michèle Ivey (Michèle Sorel), is an accomplished composer, singer, coach, vocal instructor, narrator and international protocol & etiquette expert. She has been named winner of numerous awards and has held positions of note with the Manhattan School of Music Preparatory Division, the Brooklyn-Queens Conservatory of Music, Global Protocol, Inc., Endemol Productions, Clear Channel/SFX Entertainment/Columbia Artists Theatricals, Inc. and The Riverside Church of New York City. Additionally, she has been the official liaison to William Jefferson Clinton, Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz, William Henry 'Bill' Cosby, Jr., and Arundhati Roy, to name a few. Michèle maintains an active performance calendar of classical, musical theatre, folk, Caribbean and popular music in such venues as; Avery Fisher Hall-NYC, Carnegie Hall-NYC, The Music Center-LA, Rushmore Plaza Center-SD, Strauss Performing Arts-NE, Center in the Square-ONT, Teatro Municipal-Rio, Brasil, Auditorio Manuel de Falla- Granada, Spain, Societo Filharmonica-Trento, Italy, and Palais Lichtenstein-Vienna, Austria. Her ability to reach the heart of music and text continue to be applauded throughout Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America where she attracts diverse audiences. In addition to performance, Michèle is Facilitator on Global Protocol, Inc.’s Team of Experts, she is Founder & President of Visionary Artists Mgt. and recently, she departed the coveted position of Docent at Kykuit, the Rockefeller Estate, with Historic Hudson Valley. This year, she extends her involvement in music education to include 2 invited workshops for young adults; Presenting Oneself in a Professional Manner & Audition Practices. Michèle’s voice may be heard on recorded sound tracks for numerous feature films and commercials namely; the National Basketball Association and the United States Army. American Airlines awarded her winner of the American Airlines International Concours for ‘D’lo Kokoye’, an original composition. Michèle is featured on several recordings of ARIA, Astor Place compact disk recording which reached #2 on Billboard.
