Naila Al Atrash, theatre director, actress, acting teacher and scholar from Damascus Syria. During my 40 year career I have directed and starred in dozens of productions throughout the Arab World, Europe, South Africa and United States. Served as a head of acting department at the Damascus Theatre Academy for 8 years and contributed to designing the curriculum. Actively involved in the theatre of the larger Middle East, I have participated in and or chaired many symposia and festivals.
