Jill Edwards

Jill Edwards, singing teacher, protege and associate of Joan Lader, relies on her multi-decades of training with Ms. Lader to form the basis of technique taught to singers. New Studio on Broadway (NSB) adjunct faculty member since 2011, Jill has taught at The Hartt School of Music, been a guest teacher at summer program Broadway Theatre Project, conducted master classes at Western Carolina University, as well as in Europe (Croatia and Slovenia).  Jill received a BA in Music Education from Bowling Green State University, studied method acting with Ed Kovens (founding member of the Lee Strasberg Institute) for two decades, eventually becoming a member of the Actors Studio.  Early on, as a performer Jill starred in operas with Amato Opera, Liederkranz Foundation and Measured Breaths Opera, all contributing to her foundation as a teacher.  Jill has maintained a private voice studio in midtown Manhattan since 1995.
