Lije Morgan

I’m an artist and educator based in Brooklyn, NY. My work explores the power of cute—how soft aesthetics can be used as tools of persuasion, subversion, and surprise. I’m especially fascinated by the history of cute imagery in propaganda and soft power, and I love using these tools to disarm an audience.

I primarily work in Blender for both 2D and 3D animation, often combining mediums and techniques. I’m also incredibly passionate about game design and the potential games have as tools for storytelling, education, and emotional connection. Recently, I’ve been creating live visuals for performances, projecting animations synced to music in real time.
