Collaboration between Pato Hebert, Hetrick-Martin Institute, Anooj Bhandari and groups of young queer people of color from HMI and NYU

An exhibition featuring works in photography, digital imaging, and multimedia by 22 graduating seniors from the Department of Photography and Imaging, Class of 2018. SHOW TWO is the second and last of BFA exhibitions of the work of the entire graduating Photography and Imaging class.

In the year since graduation, Maggie Rogers has been busy: writing and recording music, collaborating with luminaries, and touring the world – all while holding fast to her own artistic vision, and the unique voice and viewpoint that Pharrell immediately recognized in her work – and on November 27, she’s coming back to NYU Skirball to tell us all about it.

Recent graduates provide candid views about how they navigated the transition from student to professional, as well as reflections on their artistic growth since college.

Filip Šír, Manager for Digitization of Sound Documents at the National Museum in Prague, will discuss his experience establishing a center for audio preservation at the largest museum in the Czech Republic, as well as the history of the Czech Republic's National Sound Archive.
