Gene Kogan is an artist and a programmer who is interested in generative systems, artificial intelligence, and software for creativity and self-expression.
For 32 years, artists Antoni Muntadas and Marshall Reese have been compiling a history of presidential campaign spots, following the evolution of political advertising from its beginnings in 1952 to the present. After this screening, Director Marshall Reese will join Professor Howard Besser and two Tisch students for a panel discussion on the construction and impact of campaign advertising, particularly focusing on the most recent presidential campaign.
