MICHAEL MCELROY & SAM POLLARD WILL RECEIVE THE 2021 MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. FACULTY AWARD

The NYU Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Faculty Award recognizes outstanding faculty who exemplify the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through teaching excellence, leadership, social justice activism, and community building. In addition, these faculty make a positive impact within the classroom and in the greater NYU community. This award is one of the most prestigious honors a faculty member at NYU can receive. 

Two members from the Tisch community were announced as 2021 honorees! Michael McElory, Associate Arts Professor & Director of Diversity Initiatives in the Drama department, and Sam Pollard, Professor in the Undergraduate Film & Television department, will be recognized for their noteworthy accomplishments in a special ceremony on February 2, 2021.
