The 2020 Student Academy Awards
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences recently announced the finalists for the 2020 Student Academy Awards, and we’re honored to celebrate three recent Tisch graduates on their recognition. The Student Academy Awards is an international student film competition, established in 1972, that culls work from college and university film students around the world in a competition for awards and cash grants. Past Student Academy Award winners have gone on to win 11 Oscars, and receive 63 Oscar nominations, including Tisch alumni Spike Lee, Cary Fukunaga and many others. Winners will be announced Thursday, October 15. Congrats to the finalists!
