Student Grant Workshop 2020

On Wednesday, October 28th, the TCR team delivered a jammed packed presentation to Tisch students looking to learn more about the granting process and where to find opportunities.

HERE IS A RECAP:

Courtney Echols Penn from Tisch Student Affairs shared how their office provides resources to students looking for careers in the creative industry.

Dana Whitco, Erika Moore, and Adrienne Henry provided context on the difference between Grants, Fellowships, and Residencies. They highlighted the importance of understanding the funding stream connected to the granting institution. They also reviewed the application process, where to find grants, and the review process itself, all while answering specific questions posed by the participants.
