Friday Conversations With Kris Diaz
Throughout the Spring 2016 semester, Tisch Artist-in-Residence Kristoffer Diaz conducted weekly informal conversations with some of New York City's most exciting theater artists, producers, and thinkers. Conversations were open to all Tisch students and faculty.
All conversations met from 3:00 to 4:30pm in the Dean's Conference Room (721 Broadway, 12th Floor) unless otherwise noted.

Friday, April 22 with Nancy Noto and Jon Rua

Nancy Noto (Director, People & Development for Mic) is an actor, comedy producer, former acting apprentice at the Actor's Theatre of Louisville, and NYU Alum. Jon Rua is an actor and dancer who has performed on and off Broadway in In The Heights, Hands on a Hardbody, and The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity, among many others. He currently appears on Broadway in Hamilton.
Friday, April 8 with Susan Lewis
Producer Susan Lewis joins us to talk about working for and with a Grammy-Award winning music artist as she expands into the worlds of film and television. Susan Lewis is Head of Development for film and television at AK Worldwide, the production company of Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter and actress Alicia Keys. For seven years, she served as Vice President of Development for MTV Films in Los Angeles. Her career began in management and production, as a Story Editor for the multi-tiered 3 Arts Entertainment. Ms. Lewis hold a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Writer Robert Schenkkan (Pulitzer winner for The Kentucky Cycle, Tony winner for All The Way, coming to HBO this spring) and actor Sarah Schenkkan (Wicked, Amazon's Z: The Beginning of Everything) discuss their work, the field, and the role of family in a creative life.
